Think again, the Ardennes may only rise to 600 metres, but three days of steep and plentiful climbs takes it's toll. This is my experience and what I learned in what was only my second stage race.

The thrill of the chase

I learned about mountain bike racing from reading articles written by Matt Hart in Singletrack Magazine. I never imagined that one day, we'd be pitted on the same row of a National event. Although it turned out to be a bit of a mismatch, I really enjoyed the thrill of the chase.
